I don't get it.  I do as many work units as everyone but don't earn as many points?  I have done 25 work units and only earned 125,000 points.

 

Am I missing something?

If you're only using your CPU, that could be a reason since the WU are worth less.

A lot of factors play into the amount of points you receive after you submit your WU, such as:

  • Time it takes to complete WU (points decrease/increase over time)
  • Time it takes to send completed WU (points decrease/increase over time)
  • Bad work/collection servers (some servers are not awarding the correct number of points I believe)

Yah I had high temps as well at first. I have the DH-15 cooler. All I had to do was do i -.1 vcore offset and its drops my temps to a nice 79c while running both my liquid cooled 1080ti and the ryzen 3950x at the same time. I run 26 cores and get 3.91 ghz and pulling upwards of 2mil PPD at times when they are both running.

Whelp, my 670 died within hours of folding. To be fair i picked it up for $20 at goodwill 2 years ago, and used it daily for 1.5 years.
