In the last 3 hours yes... or maybe not, since the stats sometimes lag...

Makes more sense to look at the "points today" IMO.

 

Even if WU delivery was bad this afternoon and I haven't been folding with my 2080S all evening becasue gaming with friends I'll reach the usual ~900K in the end when I shut down for the night.

Unfortunately this event is a community event, not an LMG endorsed event. 

 

Plus the mods don't want loads of badges and I agree, they become tacky

1650 Super you'll be pulling around 300-450k ppd  (and no point going with the non-super variant if the prices are still as close as they were when I bought mine) (also, my card could potentially be cpu bottlenecked but I'm not sure how that works with folding, or if cpus can even bottleneck GPU performance in this instance).

 

[GTX 1030?] They made a GTX 1050, the 1030 is only GT. I have one and it's meh. Was the first pascal card I had used so I was happy with it but definitely filled its 2GB frame buffer faster than I'd like. If you go with the GT 1030, please MAKE SURE YOU GET THE GDDR5 version. NVIDIA in all their wisdom made a GDDR4 variant that absolutely sucks moldy toes and is the same price as the GDDR5 variant.

 

With that said, I would recommend staying away from it (unless you want to buy mine for $50. Just has a little bit of dust on the back from its 2 months of use in my system ;-P) (jk)

Thank you for helping me finally find a legit purpose for this PoS I built...

20 cores (had to leave some for plex) and 2 GTX  980s all on water.

My power bill is going to be rough..  (1000+ watts)

I hope running 10 cores + 1 GTX 980 in each of 2 VMs doesn't cause too much inefficiency I was trying to get this rolling in docker containers but I couldn't get GPU pass through working.

That would likely do like 400-500k a day maybe? My gtx 1080 and 6700k @4.6 GHz does about 900k a day.

Heh... I've been having some instability issues as I've my power draw... I've told the electrician yet about the power draw situation...

I have two different WUs in the sending state. They keep getting the following error:

 

EDIT: incorrect, see below:

Failed to connect to 128.252.203.10:80: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

 

Any ideas beyond just waiting to see if it starts working again? (In the event one or more servers are overloaded)

 

EDIT: reread logs: that was for a different work unit. the actual error is:
