This is our highest yet but should be possible for most people seeing as most modern GPUs and CPUs can hit this. These must be met DURING the event. Points produced before the start date do not count!

That's more clear

Fired up my computer since I don't use it much these days, i7 3770 and R9 390. Not much by modern standards but better than sitting doing nothing here in the cold Colorado weather!

I'm 74 attempts into trying to upload project 11753 and 11758.  It won't even try to get a new GPU WU until one of those has been sent?

I would check the problem child list, they also have a few possible fixes. If all else fails a restart fixed my problem the other day. Might Lose a WU but better to be moved on to another one then to be sitting idle with a glitched one.

edit:

Just checked, those are know problem ones. They are looking into it. up to you if you want to restart and let it try again tho.

Im having a small technical issue. Im running Manjaro, which is Arch based, so i donwloaded the folding stuff through the AUR, and set it up, according to the guide, but im not able to get any Work units. Is anyone else having this issue? Any advice would be helpful.

Here is the SystemCTL output:

That collection server is not "accept"-ing. I don't know what to tell you other then to wait or delete the work unit. It should begin working on another even if it has a completed one to send.image.thumb.png.d7cebe99ec868963d40122d3f7d90a12.png

That would be a problem.  Well after a restart I picked up a new GPU WU so I'll leave it go for now.

Grab a Vega 56, pretty awesome value now in the used market. A good OC'd one can match a stock Vega 64 even with the lesser Hynix memory. My Nitro+LE is pumping out 175W with a mild undervolt and overclock at 45% fan speed, it's very quiet. Great compute card that can also game like a GTX 1080.

I am just going off the estimated PPD from the FAHcontrol, that goes up and down some but it's hanging out around 590,000.

Just saw this, and I used to fold a long time ago. Decided to hop on. It's not much, but it's something. Maybe this will force me to go trade this RX480 for a 2080...

Nice to see this going on and the community pulling together. I've been reading up and looks the folks are working on bringing more WU's into the system as well as more back end architecture to support the surge!

Congrats and thanks to all for working and donating!

Cheers and love to all!
