RDR2 Low performance on high end laptop

Nalgasp3ludas

Well not sure if its still high end, but in my opinion it has good specs. Gtx 1080, i7 7820hk, 32gb ram, rdr2 is installed on a ssd. I have no problems with loading screens, problem is online, Im averaging between 28-45 fps, sometimes it stays at arround 60 in some areas. Ive looked tons of videos on how to optimize the settings but I cant seem to get 60 fps even on lowest 720p settings. My storage drives are almost full, have 80gb left on hdd, and 90 on ssd, could a format fix my issues? Every other game runs well. Oh and Im using dx12 because I got some weird graphical glitches with trees on vulcan.

On story mode I get between 30-50.

*Just updated the nvidia drivers, going to check if theres a diference*

R2D2, is a poorly optimized game unfortunately.

Some Nvidia drivers have improved the performance for a bit but nothing to write home about, I'm afraid you are stuck with the bad performance.

Guess Ill have to play on ultra textures, and everything else mid-high

I get poor performance with my high end desk to in that game.

I use Hardware Unboxed settings to get a good image and playable frame rates.
