I got this water block and it fits great the only thing I don’t like is you can not use the back plate with it unless you 2 side tape it on and the  it removes the brace that supports the card so you have to vertical mount it or get some type of anti sag bracket.

Hi,

Can I check if your video card is MSI RTX 2070 SUPER VENTUS OC 8 GB?

Which Bykski GPU water block is that?

I'm desperately trying to find a water block for my GPU.

Thank you.

I have a rtx2080 ventus v2 , the first time I ordered a Corsair block and I found out that the v1 and v2 isn't the same, my bad didn't check everything. Now I have a bykski on order from Ali that should arrive this week after waiting 5 weeks. You don't have any other options for you card.

Hi, I don't mean to revive an old-ish thread here, but as I can't seem to find an actual image of the MSI RTX 2070 Super Ventus OC anywhere, could you confirm this is actually it?

I asked MSI very nicely about what kind of PCB layout they used for the card, and they were super vague about it. It's "based on NVIDIA public version," whatever that means, and is also "basically the same as the 2080 Ventus," again, whatever than means. When I press them about it, they say the same thing over again.

I've asked MSI for PCB images now though, cus EKWB are kind enough to check if I supply them with a PCB image. And if the 2070 Super Ventus OC shares the same PCB layout as the 2080 Ventus, then we can use any reference design 2080 water block. Only if it's 2080 Ventus v1 though. V2 is custom PCB. However, there are more 2080 Ventus blocks out there.

The picture looks like a gaming x trio, the ventus does not have a pcb that big and the pcie power plugs are flush with the pcb

Have had a pretty good back-and-forth with EKWB support, and it turns out the image above is actually of the 2070 Ventus PCB. Not Super, and not OC. You can tell it's a Ventus from the decorative aluminum bracket thingy next to the slot cover. You should be able to tell from the number printed on the actual PCB, in this case V373 (as well as the version number after it).

The number on MSI RTX 2070 Super Ventus OC PCB is V372, which puts it in line with the entire 2070 Super, 2080 and 2080 Super lineup. V372-249R is the complete number, so there is a chance that this PCB is identical or nearly identical to one of the 2080 models that use a reference PCB.

Guess all I can do is wait to hear back from EK again, but chances are pretty slim they'll offer a block that fits. Would be awesome if there was an actual image around of this exact PCB, that would help a lot.

And just for the record. MSI customer support is pretty meh, but the EK guys are super helpful. Even if I end up not getting a block from them, they've earned my business for the rest of the loop if I find a compatible block elsewhere or if I maybe can manage to trade cards with someone/trade-in at my retailer for a 2080.

That is not correct. All the MSI 2070 Ventus cars I can find only has a single power connector, and the die has TU104-410 printed on it, that is a 2070 super die, the normal 2070 is TU106

Searching for v373 on msi.com yielded 17 results. 13 non-Super cards, 4 Supers. Odds are, that image is of a non-Super card, and probably not even a Ventus variant. And I just got my card last week. It has 6+8pin for power. Anyhoo, that PCB is not the same as mine either. Not even the same as what I thought it was.

From MSI: "Your graphics card model is -V372-261S. PCB version is V372-7.1." Still won't send me an image tho.

Check this one out. It fits most 2070, 2070s, 2080 and 2080ti

Just check the compatibility list. I got back a rma card that ended up being a 2070s (980 ti) and this was one of the few blocks that fit it.

Sorry I haven't been around for a while but here's a pic of the card and harness, it is a dual  it is an 8+6 pin but I've tried 3 different blocks 4 2070s and 2080 tu104 cards but it's the actual layout of the PCB that is causing problems. It's actually a very wide card. I plan on just selling it sometime soon before the 3000 series comes out and buying something that I can already guaranteed will be easy to find a water block for. ( Pic of a 2080 block I have that doesn't work)

I know it's not a block, but I used a NZXT Kragen G12 and Corsair H55.  The G12 fit using the AMD adapter.  The only problem I had was adapter clearance with two 20mm copper heatsinks on the VRAM.  I used tape on those instead.  I went with the H55 for simplicity.  I didn't want to deal with another RGB and I'm out of USB spots on the motherboard.
