Intel press conference is going on right now, they've announced a new platform "Lexington", successor to Atom based phones, directed at mobile market

Interesting, especially as they tout the Atom based RAZRi topping the iPhone 5 in the graphs

1.2ghz with hyperthreading, this is big news, we'll have to wait to see how it holds up in benchmarks though

Now codename "Bay Trail" (dumb codenames, not as bad as THOR though, lol)

New Atom chip too for tablets

Won't hold a finger to Tegra 4 though

WOOOO! 7 watt Ultrabook CPUs! I believe this is Haswell

Over 140 now available, shipping right now!

They predict touchscreen Ultrabooks to go down to $599, can't wait!

Wait, for Haswell Ultrabooks, they MUST have touch, that may not be good....

Mandatory WiDi as well (who uses that?)

The gesture control and eye tracking is really neat, can't wait for it to be integrated into laptops, but I see little use for it on the desktop platform apart from usability for the disabled

It's like Intel forgot they make desktop processors this year or something. Somewhat disappointed.
