Asus TUF X570 plus motherboard is stuck on orange dram light.

I have tried several things and I don't know what to do. I can't even get into the BIOS because the board won't get pass the orange dram light on the board. I thought it was my RAM so I got some new RAM (Trident Z Neo 3600 16x2GB). They light up fine but the board sits there on the orange light and does nothing.

I have no idea what to do. Please help.

I have and nothing changed. Still an orange light next to the dram.

In the fact the light stays on even when there's no ram inserted at all.

I have sent back my MoBo and am awaiting another one to be sent. Hoping this turns out to be this.

I am having the exact same issue with the exact same motherboard and RAM. I can't get into my BIOS to even attempt to fix it. Light stays on with no RAM, 1 RAM stick, or altogether different RAM in the slots. Did the new motherboard work?

I have this same issue - I had this board / setup for 4 months, I rebooted from Windows, and since then it has been a brick - same yellow DRAM light.

I swapped to a different PSU, different video, different RAM, bought new RAM, put the machine together outside of the case, unplugged everything else, reset the board by bridging the reset pins, I always get the same behavior =( its a brick

I have submitted a web based request for an RMA, but after reading around online a lot, I anticipate that I will end up buying a different motherboard. Lots of folks are seeing this issue apparently.

I had this exact same issue. For me I looked in the manual for a little bit went to the onboard LED page and continued looking. While in the jumpers section I looked down at a little note and saw that I could erase the RAM information from the bios just by shorting the CLRTC jumpers ( please consult the manual on the procedure for doing this). So i did this and that fixed it for me. I hope this helps someone.

I had this issue and fixed it. I'm aware this is very late to the party but this post is high in the Google search results and I wanted to make sure a correct answer is there.

This can be caused by a bios issue, when you cleae the CMOS on this board, the BIOS goes back to a version before the 5000 series existed so it doesn't have the instruction set.

Fix:

You need to install an older Ryzen chip, update the BIOS to a version that supports Ryzen 5000 and then reinstall the 5800X.

Is your ram in qvl list?

Asus x570 boards beening very picky with RAm issues.

I'd try to update BIOS if the RAM is not faulty.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

I had this issue with amber ram light on asus tuf x570 wifi motherboard. It got to the point where even the bios would crash. I resolved the issue by removing the battery and completely resetting the motherboard unplugging pc draining power, using only 1 stick of ram until it booted.  I updated the bios then rest the motherboard again. I uninstalled AMD driver software and used the driver option only. I installed the full 32gb of ram and set my ram speed to 3600MHz and it's been fine since. My guess is there was some kind of conflict going on either in the bios, the system itself or both. Possible settings not 100% working how they should especially after replacing the ram with new ram. Either way I hope this helps.
