Scale 200% on FHD or 4K resolution w/o scaling

Hi, I wonder which would have better image when playing games. Which would look better? 

I.E playing Shadow of Mordor / Shadow of War

 

1. ULTRA Settings, FHD monitor and 200 % scaling

2. ULTRA Settings, 4K monitor and no scaling

4k with no scaling.

4K no scaling is categorically different because your vision for the first time in your life will mostly be limited by your eyes, just like in real life. There's still some limitation from the screen, but any improvement in screen clarity will bring less, because whilst your eye may capture some of it, it won't capture all of it like before. Now I would dump everything else into refresh rate. fucking DP 2.0, AMD/Nvidia/Intel hurry the f up. I'm so eager to see the wave of  4k 144hz new monitors with DP 2.0. 

 

As a joke, with 4K no scaling, you will see aliasis, whereas with FHD, you won't.

Asus VX239H, playing 4k video on YouTube on my monitor has much better quality than playing same video on 1080P. I.E - PERU 8K video.

Scaling really improves quality but I wondered if there is noticeable difference in quality bewteen native 4K ULRTA settings, without scale and  FHD ULTRA with 200% Scale (software 4K). 

 

I need to decide if it worths buying 4K monitor or play games on FHD monitor with scale set to 200$. 

If there is no difference then buying 4K monitor is waste.

Actual 4K monitor is a huge difference from 1080p with 200 scaling

Native 4k vs scaled 1080p I can see the difference. I recently got a 4k 43 inch tv and was playing fallout 4 on my 1080p monitor and wondered what it would look like on the tv and holy shit what a difference. Everything looked so crispy.

When Fallout 4 came out I already had a 4k monitor and could not understand why people thought it looked like crap.

I then played it at 1080p and understood why.

 

It is sort of like the developers all used 4k monitors and never looked at their work at a lower resolution.

Take trees for example. There are not enough pixels at 1080p for their tree designs to work so they look like a anti aliasing nightmare.  Even at 1440p they don't look great.

The game does work at 1600p but I still prefer to play it at 4k.
