Best wireless over-ear anc headphones with sweat resistance?

CyberFern0

I'm looking for new headphones for the gym and was wondering if there were any with the qualities listed in the title. I know that there are the treblab z2's, but people say that the noise cancelling isn't all that great. If y'all own these headphones, is it good, at least better than the beats studio (1) wireless. If not, do y'all have any suggestions? Price isn't really an issue.

If you're open to it, you could get a pair of Sony WH1000XM3, which are excellent wireless ANC headphones, then get Earhugz to make them sweat proof.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Bose QC 35 II, Bose 700 and Sony XM3s have the best noise cancellation available, in that order according to most reviews. Unfortunately none of them are sweat proof. If you want sweat proof over ears, you'll need to take a significant hit in ANC.

That said, ANC on sealed headphones does some funny stuff with your inner ear, I don't know if it would be a great idea to be using it while working out.

Thanks for the suggestions man. I've actually been looking into those headphones but didn't want to ruin more $400 headphones. About the ANC, I've been using them since Christmas at the gym, and I haven't noticed any side effects. I'm not asking for heavy ANC. I just want enough so the music is the most prevalent sound in my ears, and I can get into my zone.

I've never heard of these, but I think the fluffy material would overheat my airs...

Regarding noise cancellation, there are more than enough options to pick between, the Bose QuietComfort series, Sennheiser 550, Sony has a few good entries, and so on, you can compare stats to make up your mind here - https://popular.reviews/best-noise-cancelling-headphones/

I got the Bose 25 and I'm pleased with them (I travel a lot and want to mute out everyone else in the airport and airplane when they get too chatty). But honestly, I don't know if over-ear models are necessarily the best idea for the gym. Make sure to get ones with a snug fit (for short, don't cheap out). Otherwise, you'll end up spending more time putting the headphones back on your ears rather than working out. ?
