os-less pc won't boot installer due to errors

 I can edit the grub of the cd, and 18.04 gave same error so i know its not too new a pc. this error has plagued me for 2 months.  choosing try or install ubuntu yeild same result, also "cannot get size part is gone. uief mode, new install on a new ssd1tb

 64 bit 16.04 is what i am trying to install. any ideas?

main rig:

CPU: 8086k @ 4.00ghz-4.3 boost

PSU: 750 watt psu gold (Corsair rm750)

I don't know a specific linux fix, just had to turn on compatibility mode in bios when I was installing ubuntu for folding month a while back... I'm sure there's probably more than that going on. If you aren't running it perhaps it could help?

Try re-making the installation media?

sorry, I left a bit out. That error, asside from cannot get size as this part is gone, appeared on 18.04, and 16.04 lts versions of ubuntu. I tried 16.04 usb, and cd install mdeia versions. the 18.04 was tried on Usb only.

I even tried an hdd with ubuntu already on (from laptop where i installed it) it and running the installer with it in to see if it would boot in the pc causing the issue in question, however exact same error. 

 

i don't know if it shows on my profile, but the pc thats in my system info is the one in question.

 

Csm is on, secure boot is off, integrated graphics is set. @Arrogath

set to boot legacy device? ., but if it's same error on another pc, could the usb be corrupt?

@Robchil This usb installed 16.04 on my laptop many times so doubt it, also the cd, gave same error on this pc.

It would work since everything is read in bios okay, but i dont want windows as my os. from the first part baught i wanted a linux gaming pc. spasifically 16.04 gaming pc. and i know what virtual box is, and have used it on ubuntu for remix os. already having a dislike for windows, it wouldnt make too much sense.

edit: Acpi=off gives me "watchdog:BUG: softlock cpu3 stuck at 23s" but thats the only error
