PC wont Boot if CPU Cable is on?

Hi, 

 

i7 9700KF 

asus z390 prime 

8x2 DDR4

SEASONIC Focus 650w Gold 

 

I was playing Metro and suddenly the PC switched off and wont turn back on, removing CPU cable power will turn the PC successfully? plugging it back wont boot the PC? 

BAD CPU?

You PC will not turn on without CPU power cable plugged in, same goes for ATX power cable.

Full time technology enthusiast, part time IT.
