AMD 3xxx Idle/Load temp thread

JapanDave

Can we get a AMD Idle/Load temp thread?.

Looking for people to post what temps they are getting on their AMD 3XXX when on Idle and under load.

Please post what stress test you are using under load for comparison. Also if possible the ambient temps of the room you have the PC in and what cooling you are using.

Also posting in Fahrenheit is fine, just follow the below pattern for posting.

Just copy and paste and change to your settings.

My temps,

CPU: 3970x @3.7GHz

Cooling: Custom loop water cooling

Ambient: 20 degrees

Idle: 25-35 degrees celsius

Load: 49 degrees, Cinebench 20 multi-thread, score 17354

Load: 48 degrees, Cinebench 20 single-thread, score 519

That is really low.

3900x on a custom loop / 300W PPT limit but running a voltage offset.  I run my fans really slow it is set to 800-1000RPM depending on the CPU temp.

Ambient 21-26 depending on the time of year

Idle 32-34 with background processing pushing it into the 40s

Games are usually in the 40s but menus and loading screens going into the 50s

Blender ~68C

Aida/IBT ~ 72C

I had hit about 82C in Aida before messing with the voltage offset.

For a thread like this, it's important to state whether you're stock, PBO, or manual overlock.

CPU: 3900x with PBO enabled.

Cooling: Deepcool Castle 360 AIO

Fans never go above 1200 RPM on load.

Ambient: 22 C

Idle: 34-42 C (fan: 800 RPM)

Cinebench R20: 67 C, score 7277, 4.1 GHz

Blender: 67-69 C, Blender, 4050-4150 MHz

Prime95: 70C, around 3900 MHz

When gaming it's around 45 to 57 C, and with all cores at 4.2 Ghz most of the time while not on load screens.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X   Motherboard: MSI X570 Gaming Edge Wifi   Case: Deepcool Maxtrexx 70   GPU: RTX 3090   RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3x16GB 3200 MHz   PSU: Super Flower 850W

Good point, I will add that to the OP. Sorry for my dumbness, but what is PBO?
