Windows Can't Open Setup File

zmaha7

When I double click on my legitimate Lightroom setup file (.exe) it spins for a bit and then does nothing. It's not lagging - think it just won't open. Can anyone help?

P.S. I have Windows Pro x64

This probably sounds obvious, but have you tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it? Also you can try right clicking on it and running as administrator, I’ve had programs in the past only start if they were run with admin privileges.

Its a setup file, it would be extremely difficult to uninstall an installer.
