Steam can't see my mic or headset at all.

ive gotten my mic to work before but while playing CS:GO it stopped working all the sudden, my mic works on discord and everywhere else except steam it dosent even have my mic as an option to test when im in the microphone settings

Just go to settings, then go to audio and try changing your audio to something else then click apply then change it back to the one you want to use. Worked for me! I don't know about the mic.
