Corsair MP600 Force Series Gen4 questions

xven

The Corsair MP600 Force Series Gen4 has a huge cover on top of it....

here is my question.

Is it needed ? can it be removed ?

i am worried it won't fit on a asrock x570 taichi mobo.

Why not just buy the 500 series that doesn’t have the cover?

i5 8600 - RX580 - Fractal Nano S - 1080p 144Hz

The 500 series is an older model so will have different specifications, I think the 600 is about 25% faster.

It will be a gaming system but also lots of video editing so the only reason we are going ryzen over intel is for the gen 4 speeds. That is why i wanted to stick with the 600 series for the speeds.

It can be removed and placed under the motherboard's own heat sink. All you have to do is bend the bottom clip a bit

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
