Copy Paste Speeds?

What is the best configuration for optimum  transfer speeds?

 

I have an NVME drive D:/ and a second NVME G:/

 

if i copy paste from D to D (different folder) is it faster than transfering from D to G?

Depends on what drives you have and how much stuff you're copying.

both NVME capable of ~3000MB/s corsair mp510 and 970 evo plus

 

lets say ~ 15000 files (small size few KB each)

Only workload this reminds me is installing cracked paid software...

 

but spreading to different drives is better, so SSD dont try to read and write to itself at the same time

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s
