PSU issue.

I have a motherboard that requires a 8+4-pin CPU connection instead of just 8-pins that my PSU has. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue and what PSU I should get for this. I have a 9900k and a 2070 SUPER and I am looking for a PSU that has atleast 650W. If anyone could help find one that is compatible I would be very appreciative.

What PSUs do you currently have?

If you just plug in the 8pin it will work. The 4pin is optional.

I currently have a Corsair RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply and I'm in the process of building my PC, I think this should be fine.

The RM650x will be fine, just use the 8pin connector and leave the 4pin empty. The RM750x, RM850x and RM1000x come with two EPS12V connectors but the RM650x and RM550x only come with one.
