Can you locate a more specific area the burning smell is coming from? And is there any burning damage there?

Your psu exploded. You may need a new one. I suggest this https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-100-BR-0450-K1-Bronze-Power-Supply/dp/B07DTP6SLJ
