the cx750 you have is internally the same as the modern cxm 2015/2017 models, but with a sleeve compared to a rifle bearing fan

as long as the fan doesn't wear out, that side should be fine

the problem is really that it'll very likely get annoying, since it uses a double forward topology, it'll start to whine

there's nothing harmful about it, but it's a very annoying sound

Actually, with just a 1070 I doubt it'll get very noisy.  Usually that happens to 1080 and up GPUs.

My system is already noisy as hell, so I doubt ill notice it. The Corsair 450d has two loud 140mm fans in the front, one of which now rattles slightly. The front cover mesh is really open. Plus I have a couple 120mm exhaust fans in the top and rear, a triple fan GPU, plus coil whine from the GPU. At least my noctua d15s is quiet, my previous corsair h60 pump was pretty loud.

Needless to say a silent case this is not. It doesnt bother me really but maybe some day soon ill do some fan replacement to quiet things down a bit. It does have hella good airflow though and temps have never been a problem.

this is a 1070 ti, and my personal cx550m already showed problems with that

so it's at the very least possible
