AMD Ryzen 7 2700x Crashes

Pc Build Specs:

Motherboard: B450m Micro ATX

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x 8-core

GPU: MSI Nvidia GTX 1050 ti 4gb

Memory: 2x8 gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2133mhz

PSU: 400W

Currently the CPU runs stable at base clock of 3.7 ghz, but once I set it to Ryzen masters preset profile of 4.0 ghz, it crashes(once under load).

I don’t get a blue screen, the pc just goes to black then boots up/restarts as normal, like the pc just restarted itself. I am still testing to find out and I am down to either it being a Temperature issue or power issue. It runs at a max of 50*C when under load at base, I have not seen it go above that temp.

If anyone has any idea as to what is my issue, Please comment and let me know on how to possible resolve this issue.

Ryzen likes faster memory, the 2133 mHz might be holding you back.  3200 mHz is considered the sweet spot for the Zen+ CPUs.  Try overclocking your RAM and see if that helps.

Seems like a PSU issue.

It's your power supply. It can't handle the overclock on Ryzen Master.

I had something like this come up with a friend's build. He was on a 450W (bronze rated) PSU when this happened and he was tweaking stuff in Ryzen Master. The problem went away when he bought a 550W (gold rated) PSU.

The deep blue sky is infinitely high and crystal clear.
