New gpu for 1080p gaming?.

hi people, im going to purchase a wide monitor soon (unsure which one yet)-  but looking to buy a msi gaming X 1660 super but also been offered a 1660ti anyone had bother or an opinion on which would be best for the cash? Tia.

Amd fx 8350,asus sabertooth R2,corsair c70,corsair h100i,palit gtx 580,corsair 8gb vengeance Ram,corsair txm 750.

Not gonna lie, even for that I wouldn’t consider either of those gpus. I’d go with a 5700/ 2060 Super at least

but if i was to get  1440 x 1080 with those cards will i have troubles ?

i just didnt want to go for a 5700 as seen there has been issues with the card but maybe il grab a rtx 2060 xc then as iv got a ting case.

How do you feel about a used 1070 ti?  That's only about $250.

1660ti and super versions is not very good for 1080p because dont have much future in 1 year games demands will increase since release of new consoles end of this year but I see you got fx 8350 processor who is not very capable present days so 1660 Super is best choice for you, because is cheaper and give performance almost 1:1 with TI in games

oh shoot no i havent got that anymore i have a different system not much better but little bit but i get you thanks. :)

I'd imagine the price is comparable in the UK.  Check eBay.
