YOU FUCKERS NEED TO ANSWER MY QUESTION TOO YA KNOW You see, my computer is a bit high in price for my liking. The Asus is way more expensive. I would like to know, which one I should get, why I should get it, and what the differences are? Please, don't tell me to get anything different.

Go for the Asus card. I've personally never heard of VisionTek. Are these reference cards or custom coolers?

Don't know crap about computers here are the links

OC means overclock. (Basically increasing the speed and performance of a processor)

If you wanted something that will perform around the same and run cooler and MUCH quieter than the visiontek card, you could go with a Nvidia GTX 780. They're cheaper than 290Xs too

If you're open to suggestions other than these 2, I'd go for a Windforce card from Gigabyte or the Sapphire Toxic cards. If not then the Asus one definately it is a very good card no matter what though

Yah a 780 or 780 ti are cheaper than 290x (780 ti being about 100 USD less) because of the mining craze. I'd personally get an Nvidia card untill the price for Radeon's decrease. Unless you play Battlefield and want Mantle, or want TrueAudio

the asus one couse its has a costum cooler and its the cheapest aftermarket card(as seen on partpik). less heat and more important ,way less noise than stock. if you don`t want a costum card and you are fine with the noise(jet plane) get the cheapest stock one from any manufacturer it doesn`t matter they are the same.

If you're mining, don't go with Nvidia. Go with an R9 290 (Non X)

Alright which would you recommend of those? This computer will be mining/gaming

R9 290's if you're mining. They are better for mining than Nvidia cards

If you're set on mining (along with gaming), go with an R9 290.

If you just wanted to game and not spend as much, get a 780. If you wanted to get the best possible gaming performance from one card, get a 780Ti.

I plan on getting this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvr929oc4gd but should I get two like I was going to do with the R9 290X or should I get a single 8GB?

You will probably be fine with one at 1080p. Obviously 2 will give better mining performance, but it's up to you for mining. If you plan on gaming at above 1080p, you might want to get two. If not, you can always add another later on when you're not getting enough performance.
