Yes i know the difference, and there is no hubs here, 1 fibre central 1 router and 1 switch.

There is a manual, and i followed it, not like you need to be Einstein to connect a switch.

Mabye the switch is not compatible with the Cat5 cable ?`Not that it should matter tbh

Brand / Model of what ?

The new switch is NetGear ProSafe 8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch GS108

The Router on the 3rd floor is a old Jensen ShitPickle :P

The fibre central i dont know, this central have TV Phone and Internet throught fibre.

The switch say it need cat5 or better cable, and the worst cable here is the blue one, and that is 5e, even though it have been raped and molsested in doors and windows and stuff, but when i put it in the computer it has internet, so i dont know :P Mabye i should try to not have the router on the roof.

I think tomorrow i will get a cable from the new switch to the fibre central.

Il do it pro this time, like put up some new RJ45 contacts and fasten the cable on the outside of the house, dont want it going through the whole house :P

System Requirements
– Windows®, Linux®, Mac OS®
– 10 Mbps: UTP Cat 3 (or better)
– 100 Mbps: UTP Cat 5 (or better)
– 1000 Mbps: UTP Cat 5e (or better)
– Network card for each PC or server

Does the LED indicate a 1000Mbps connection?

On the New Switch, the cables from the computer and laptop indicate 1000 Mbps, as both LED is on, but the blue cable no lights will turn on at all.

Okay, as boogie says, throught the power of the internet.

Well, more like Through the power of magic, it now works, plugged and unplugged some stuff, and now it works, even though its connected the same way as before.

Got 1000Mbit between computer and laptop now, and the cable from downstairs is delivering 100Mbit, but that is enough since i only got 60/60Mbit connection.

Thanks for all the help anyways =D
