€700 office PC

jaffacakes

My parents have asked me to come up with parts for a new office PC they are building. I haven't looked at any new hardware since 2017, so I am kind of out of touch with what is currently available.

So their budget it of around €600-€700 (not much more). The main purpose of this PC will be to run CAD programs, moslty AutoCAD & SketchUp. The requirements for AutoCAD aren't all that much, so maybe the budget is a little overkill, but they also need something that will last a good few years without major upgrades.

They are going to be buying everything in Italy, as that's where they are based (pcpartpicker has an italian version too, luckily).

So, what do you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance.

My first thought was that uhd 630 should be sufficient... Seems as if it is not. So I suggest the Ryzen 3400g paired to a good mainboard, sufficient and fast ram, ssd/nvme and a large harddisk.

add.: Yes, pretty much along the line of what @boggy77 did suggest, just a nodge up...

why would you choose that for your gpu, 1650 isnt good for the price and this is just an office pc. at the most i’d choose rx 570
