hi all

so i currently have r3 1200 stock wraith cooler.

does any one now good cheap cpu cooler that will keep my overclocked cpu temp lower .

the eternal favourite is the Hyper 212 Evo but AFAIK it doesn't come with n am4 bracked (or maybe the recent ones do? i'm not sure) - the coolermaster website lists the hyper t4 as being am4 compatible and it looks pretty close to the 212 evo

You could also try removing the fan from the original cooler and placing a 120mm fan over the heatsink (a bit off center, don't want the motor hub to be over the heatsink, you want the blades to push air on the metal), running at higher rpm. A bigger size fan will push more air through those fins, keeping the temperature lower.
