Chick-Fil-A hands down simply because it's better than KFC's chicken.

Why is Popeyes not a choice?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

It all depends on your area for the most part.

I could go to two different fast food joints in the same city and have two totally different experiences.

I tried Chick-fil-A and I was not impressed, it just tasted dry and old, maybe it was just the location, but it seems like everybody over hypes how good Chick-fil-A is and KFC can be hit or miss sometimes but I have never had dry chicken from them.

Neither. Popeyes or Mary Browns.

Though if I had to choose I would choose KFC.

Chic fil-a is red politically correct.   A lot of hype  good and bad has nothing to do with food quality.  I strongly suspect the management of individual stores has more to do with this one than anything else.

The KFC near my house is really good, but I think it has more to do with who runs it than anything else.

KFC don't even sell real chicken. And its a soggy mess, pass. The one good thing they in the real honey BBQ wings with the sticky molasses, they ruined with those "hot wings". Chick-Fil-A all day. Not even close.

Oh it’s real alright.  More real than I’d prefer really.  I understand they sometimes have to defeather them in store.  As to “soggy mess” that’s up to individual stores really.  Might be true in your area.

Between those two, probably have to go with KFC. If for no other reason than Chick-Fil-A has few locations and they are always packed, so I can go to one of the other numerous chicken places around here in the time it takes to wait in line.

Golden Chick is better, although I don't know how far their franchising goes from the Austin, TX area. Popeye's is also quite good, their sides are better than most. KFC does have the biscuits down though. What I really wish was that we had a Bojangles here, every time I go to The South to see family, I try to stop in one.

My Current Setup:

AMD Ryzen 5900X

Kingston HyperX Fury 3200mhz 2x16GB

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

WD 5400RPM 2TB

EVGA G3 750W

Corsair Carbide 300R

Arctic Fans 140mm x4 120mm x 1

Yeah, real garbage. And its more so their "original" recipe where it isn't truly fried. KFC just trashcan now.

Yeaaahhh...  um.... no.  pressure fried chicken is what KFC does and has done since the 1950’s.  There’s lots of video on exactly how it works.  The idea is they control the air pressure so it deep fries at a higher and very even temperature.  Old tech.  This “truely fried” thing sounds a lot like some sort of special definition someone made up.  I smell marketing.  Lots of it.  The “not real chicken” sounded a lot like that too.

Call it what you like. Still trashcan now. Used to be good, but now, pass.

A person likes what they like and doesn’t like what they don’t.  Or at least how they’re told.  I’m too old to eat fried chicken regularly myself.  Too old.  Or so the doctor tells me.  That whole “not real chicken” and “not truly fried” thing though bespeaks a lot of people telling you things that aren’t true for their own advantage though.

People can give their opinions and someone else can react in a friendly manor, a lot of people are going off of their experiences rather than pride, so as long everyone is respectful and not is not at each others throats then everything is fine.

There are very few people who worked in fast food that would eat the stuff from the restraunt   they worked in ever again.  Exceptions seem to be made for crispy chicken breasts though.  Had a nephew who was an Arby’s manager and he felt the same way there.
