i5 7600 kaby lake + rtx 2070 a good combo?

Not really. You will run into a bottleneck in modern games. I would upgrade to a Ryzen CPU.

depends on games and performance target. It won't do 144 fps in tomb raider that's for sure.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

I used a 7600k overclocked in my main computer for a while, but it's getting obsolete since it only has 4 cores and 4 threads.

My Current Setup:

AMD Ryzen 5900X

Kingston HyperX Fury 3200mhz 2x16GB

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

WD 5400RPM 2TB

EVGA G3 750W

Corsair Carbide 300R

Arctic Fans 140mm x4 120mm x 1

At what resolution and refresh rate? For 4k 60hz it will work. In a perfect world, there would be no bottlenecks, but that rarely happens. If you have to choose, you want a bottleneck on your graphics card.

a 3rd gen ryzen can draw about 100A at near max OC, your board is good too about 75A. I'd say maybe a 3.9 or 4.0 vs 4.2 max i'd expect out of 3rd gen.
