It's not worth buying R9 270x at this point?

Holy balls! I hadn't realized that! The 270X had been safe from the mining price hikes. $300!?! Now, that's pure bullshit from retailers! AMD better do something, it's getting ridiculous.

From a non-bias and non-fanboy point of view, I think NVIDIA's Maxwell GTX 800 series will outperform AMD's latest GPUs.

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

From a non-bias and non-fanboy point of view, I think NVIDIA's Maxwell GTX 800 series will outperform AMD's latest GPUs.

 

Well that's pretty obvious, it's a die-shrink and a new architecture but those cards are still really far down the line.
