I need help picking parts for my build!

Current Parts List

I have the general idea about which parts to go with such as RTX 2070 Super and Ryzen 7 3700X. Im mostly trying to hit the 1440p 144Hz mark with this build. Any suggestions for changing it would be greatly appreciated. Side-notes, Id prefer to not have the overall price exceed $2000 by too much and Im going for a white and RGB theme.

Thanks for any help

looks good to me, but on your list is no CPU heatsink, the stock is ok but with very little room for overclocking

Overclock isn’t terribly useful on ryzen2.  The only good argument I’ve seen for aftermarket coolers on ryzen2 are noise reduction or issues in hot countries where ambient gets over 30c in the summer.  Might be an argument for a 4 pipe air cooler of some sort or big air for low noise.  It can totally be done without though.  Some people are putting 240 AIOs on them.  There might be some excuse for it in SFF systems where getting any air at all to the CPU might be difficult, but I personally think in most cases it’s all for visuals and has no actual effect.

Mostly looks good to me.

6 fans seems like a lot. Especially at $40 a piece per fan.  People seem to spend all kinds of money on RGB though which I find totally perplexing myself so it might not be a useful thought.  You seem to be spending nearly $300 on RGB alone.  If you want to save some cash $200+  could be saved by going with 3 sleeve fans with no RGB and omitting the top case fans.
