Recently connected devices have no network connection.

Go to solution Solved by CubisticWings4,

Found the issue!

Someone connected a bit defender box and didn't set it up, so it was fighting with the router.

Came in this morning to the office and brought my work laptop with me. Connected everything up and am getting no network connections. Laptop nor phone is connecting to wifi nor ethernet.

Have a linksys wrt1900ac and everyone else's devices are connecting fine.

Tried restarting both of my devices and have had no success.

Tried bypassing all adapters, docks, and dongles.

Also tried restarting the router.

Any ideas?

Are they on static IP?

If you unplug someone else, do you get a connection?

If we are talking enterprise network here, the internal network may be very well isolated from unknown/non-work devices. So only permitted devices (for example, devices that belong to the company) can be connected to the WiFi and Ethernet. Using different ports might not help here.

There's a reason those blocks/security policies exist.

All devices are using DHCP

And do you get a link connection light, or does Windows say it's disconnected?

Lights show link connection. Windows shows no internet.

I assume you've done an ipconfig /release and /renew?

Okay. So that got wifi working but still no ethernet. Also, phone still has no internet connection.

Ethernet says media disconnected in powershell.

Also, even though it shows wifi has internet connection, can't connect to websites.

OK so first issue is that the router is linksys instantly you can throw good networking into garbage. Now talking seriously did this issue arise after you started connecting your laptop or was there from the beginning?
