Non-Addressable RGB

Hey all,

Thanks for a great forum, I've been getting some awesome info from this site.

I have decided to start a project case because my case is getting old and I want to make something different, but in order to keep the porject on a budget I want to use my current pc internals, with a view to upgrade the components at a later stage. The issue I am facing is that my mobo does not have addressable rgb.

The new case will have 6 RGB fans and I really want to get each fan to pulse once in a specific order. It's a little detail but would really take the project to the next level. Can this be done via standard control box and remote, or do I need software to do this? And if it has to be the software route, is there a pci / usb to addressable rgb header on the market for this?

The only option I can see is to buy a mobo with addressable rgb, but then I wonder if it's worth keeping my current cpu, then I start looking at psus, and then I realize I can't afford it anymore. That's a dark hole to fall into for such a small detail on this project...

Any advise, tips or recommendations would be great

Just to make it clear, I'm looking to pulse each rgb fan, once in a particular order.... ie, pulse fan1, then fan2, then fan 3, ect... It would only need to be one colour, red or orange, but each fan would need to pulse in order.

dont no about pulsing 1 color for each fan could do it or could not i think there's a fill 1 fan then another fan.. so non rgb software are coolermaster, lamptron, aquacomputer, but argb can do rgb stuff to so there's that.
