weird glitch when trying to log in using tor browser

i tried to sign in to the forum from the Tor browser, and i had to sign in twice. the first time it just brought me back to the sign in screen, the second time it worked.

 

i'm just using Tor because not being tracked seems very appealing lol, i get that it causes problems on some websites.

 

i'm using Tor 9.0.4 on Windows 10.

My guess is either that the browser doesn't readily accept cookies, or that you triggered a Cloudflare check (login requests are aggressively screened because there have been some brute force attempts recently). Either way, we don't officially support Tor browser, so weird issues like this won't get fixed (investigating would take a while, but it's used by so few people that it's not worth it).

You can get around trackers in other browsers, to an extent.
