My upload speed is only slow on one PC

yea so my upload speed is supposed to be 50mb/s and it is 50mb/s on my laptop and phone yet not on my PC

well its connected via ethernet a 200mb/s cable (also at one point via adapter but that also had the issue) I just installed a Kraken Z x62 and I think it I might've damaged my board or something cause this started after I installed it

That's extremely unlikely to have damaged your board in a way that could have caused this, but have you checked your cpu temperature? If you didn't mount your cooler properly and your cpu is overheating and throttling it may explain the slow speeds (though I doubt that's the case).

 

Check that you didn't leave any cables dangling around in your NIC area, that could cause interference. Try using a different cable.

Test with different speed test websites and servers.

 

Is your computer connected directly to the router via ethernet or is there something in between (like a switch, powerline, MoCa adapters, etc)?
