Gaming laptop // €2000 max budget

Hi everyone,

 

I’m (a friend) is searching for a gaming laptop around the €2000 mark. He wants it as gaming on Mac sucks (have to agree till a degree there).

 

now before anyone says PC’s are better, yes I am aware, but my friend needs it to be portable as he lives in 2 different places during the week.
My location is the Netherlands.

As for preference (will be utilised 95% for gaming only this laptop) 

- fast cpu (amd / intel)

- fast gpu (at minimum a 2060, preferably 2070 I guess (unless AMD has something to offer on the laptop side of things. 

- screen size 15-17 inch 

As for screen, 1440p be nice, 1080p is fine though. As for Hz; 60 is fine 100+ is a nice extra. 

 

any suggestions are welcome and looking forward to see what you guys/girls have to recommend 

 

budget can be maxed out to €2k. Does not need to be the cheapest

Amazon.de or tweakers.net (not sure if the last website also does English though. Coolblue.com / mediamarkt.nl are two retailers as wells

The one you mentioned I can’t seem to find directly here in Netherlands and the website mentions I should get a AC-DC converter due to voltage differences. Not ideaal thanks for pointing in the right direction though

most adapters should already support 100-240v, will try and find another

would personally go with the ROG, not really a big fan of the omen with that ridiculous hinge (imo)
