Samsung 970 EVO Plus running so hot

Hey, for some reason my m.2 ssd is running most of the time very hot (atleast reported by samsung magician). I know that if an SSd runs that hot for a long time its not healthy for the drive, so how do i fix it? Even though im not writing/reading files it still says that it's running too hot. 61c is not to high for an M.2 drive.

Start worrying after 70c

EDIT: Fix your airflow..

I had this issue as well when I first got the 970 Evo Plus as well, the controller was hitting over 100c. I then ordered and put an EKWB heatsink on it, specifically https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B073RHHYCM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it brought the controller temps down to a maximum of 72c under load.

Operating temperature for these drives is 0-70°C. If it's hittin 60°C it's quite normal. If space allows, just stick a BGA heatsink or classic chipset heatsink on top of SSD controller and you should be fine. Should shave off few degrees.

Well, it's good for the NAND flash, the hotter it gets, when you write, or erase data, the better endurance it will have.
