Need gpu recommendations

I have a gtx 960 4gb for the past 5 years or so, I want to upgrade it I was thinking a gtx 1060 6gb of some variant. I have a i5-7600k and a MSi Krait gaming motherboard. Any recommendations for a different or similar gpu I’m looking for somthing between 200-300 dollars preferably under 250

Definitely a gtx 1660 super, great for 1080p gaming. The 1060 won't be that much of an upgrade.

i always looked for Super edition for nvidia. such as 1660 Super. 1060 is kinda meh for now.

as @Wolfycapt said, the 1060 isn't as good of a value as it used to be

You can even get the EVGA 2060 KO for 300 bucks.
