PHANTEKS P350X bad airflow?

Hello all,

 

I am looking for a budget case with nice front looks, and found PHANTEKS Eclipse P350X. One of few cases that would fit my 157mm cpu cooler in the price range. However, I've seen many people saying that airflow is bad, especially with bad fan placement.

 

Would it really be that bad with 2x140mm front + 120mm back exhaust?

You forgot the 2 top intake.

what is missing is intake from the bottom.

The airflow would be perfect.....

How on earth is the P350X bad airflow? It's excellent, the front panel is properly spaced and vented so the front fans can inhale air just fine, which is usually the limiting factor for airflow on most cases (assuming you go the conventional 2-3 fans front - 1 rear route).

Any case with bad positioning of fans will have bad airflow. 

 

The P350X is really solid for it's Price to build quality ratio, and with a couple of added fans can easily keep mid ranged builds and even some "lower" high end builds (RTX2070/5700XT GPU's for example)

I would add 2 140mm front fans and move stock 120mm to back. Hopefully this will be enough.

Definitely. Two intake and one exhaust is generally the best balance between airflow, noise and cost.
