I'm using Lenovo IdeaPad S540 14' with Ryzen 5 3500U, Vega 8, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB NVME. The configuration is good for everyday tasks like word, excel, web browsing, streaming and a little bit light gaming (I like to play NFS Payback, yeah i know it's an old game, but runs pretty well /30-40fps/, on 1080 with medium settings). The Lenovo has 45 Wh battery and it depends on what you are doing, but my battery lasts for about 6 hours.

In conclusion I think the laptop with Ryzen 3500U will be better choice.
