Installing Adobe software without ruining my computer

sqzit

Is there any way to install adobe software (creative cloud suite) in a way that will prevent processes from running when the program is not open? Additionally, I would like to be able to remove the software without leftover files/registry edits at a later date.

The only thing I can think of is to install it in a VM, but this is not ideal. I heard using a docker container wont work due to licensing issues.

You can make Adobe service run manually, if that doesnt cut out your needs VM is the only solution.

Adobe Creative Cloud is so online based that I'm 99% sure if you did kill the services nothing would work properly anyway.

Also I totally read the thread title as "Install Adobe without running my computer".

I killed all Adobe background trash and then launched LR/PS. Works ok, it seems to launch it again when it's needed.

But I agree, would be great if Adobe didn't shit in our systems. But today each software developer believes that we launch computers exclusively for their program and nothing else.
