Thats a good option for sure. The Asus VG27AQ is one of the better options on the market for an all around gaming / design setup. It's Abobe RGB coverage is not perfect, but it will get the job done.

It's also G-Sync compatible and much cheaper than it's nearly identical brother the PG279Q (minus the G-Sync), plus you get HDMI 2.0.

@jmack How about the LG Ultragear 27GL850 are those colors better? is had a lower refresh rate buthas better colors i think not sure

Xrite ColorMunki Smile, ColorMunki Display, Datacolot Spyder 5 Express and so on. Most are fine, way better than nothing.
