New headphones

Recommended Posts

Posted · Original PosterOP

My 3 y/o razer kraken has served me well in general. However, the mic is horrible in my opinion and they are quite not a shape I like. I am thinking of selling them to a friend and getting a headphone and mic setup. I am going to get a blue snowball ice but the headphone market is so saturated I need you guys’ help. I would use them for gaming, music on the go and at home.

This includes the blue snowball? Make sure you get a mic stand/boom arm with that.

Sennheiser HD580x and Beyerdynamic DT880 are good deals on drop.com currently. Dunno if they change extra international shipping or if that makes the deals not deals.

International shipping is like $12 the thing that kills is customs

What type of music do you listen to? And how competitive are the games you are playing?

Not competitive gamer, have never tried open back headphones, preferably something wireless and it does not include the mic.

Yeah if you want wireless for gaming a wireless gaming headset is best. Cause wireless headphones aren't very good for gaming. Ummm the cloud orbit s should be within your budget that is my recc.

it is not as good as cheaper options in gaming cause the narrow soundstage and sub par imaging makes them not that good  for gaming
