Qualcomm Atheros wifi adapter into MSI MoBo

I believe only if they have an M.2 slot specifically designed for WiFi.  At best in a normal M.2 slot you might get WiFi but not Bluetooth, as it won't have USB support.

 

I can't tell which model card that is either, so if you need a full PCIe adapter for it, you might be better off just getting a proper PCIe WiFi adapter.

I have a Qualcomm Atheros C204N3 network adapter out of a Toshiba laptop. I'm wondering if this would work in a desktop motherboard with any success. I can find drivers for it, I just wanted to know if anyone had tried it. The connector won't fit into a PCIe slot (already tried). So the last thing I figured might fit would be the M.2 port...

As long as the mainboard can handle M.2 A+E key cards, sure. I am not sure if those fit into a normal M.2 slot though or if there are add-in cards for these.
