My current PC in a ~2' supertower, and is both massive and heavy. What should I do?

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

I mean, I took mu PC with me to college and it was rather large. Worked out fine... lol. Not like you have to move it very often, once to move in at the start of the year, and likely again after the year is over for summer when you go home.

8600k is a bit on the "not bleeding edge" side as its "only" 6 threads. But I would just look for a used 8700k, overclock it some, and that would be pretty dang solid! The 8600k isn't "bad" especially if your OC it decently, but an 8700k would breath a little more life into it.

Part it out and sell it. Sell it as a whole if u r getting a good offer.

And purchase a laptop. It'll be handy for college.

 

Or else you can keep your existing pc and get a used 2012, 2013 MacBook pro for around $250 on eBay for your college. Just put in a new SSD and the laptop feels snappy as new.
