Hello.

 

So i am thinking about getting a SSD called A2000 NVMe PCIe SSD

Well it work on my PC. and can i install windows on it and boot from it. ?

Should be fine, though you wont be getting its rated speeds as the M.2 slot is rated for 10Gbps, or 1.25GB/s max

Wellcome to the forum!

Works but not at full speed. Besides that this SSD is not the best choice for NVMe. Depending on if you want to upgrade your platform in the future idd get an other one. If not it doesn't matter because the mobo will be the limiting factor.

Where are you buying?

My PC is pretty old its prob eol around 5 years. not looking to upgrade my pc anymore after this next step is pretty much getting a new one.

 

My CPU is a Intel core i5 4690 3.5GHz.

16 GB ram its a one 8 and 2x4 GB becuse i could not find any others becuse my pc is so old.

GTX 760.

 

I am buying at a site called komplett its Danish.

Roger, then it might be worth spending a bit more to get a nice NVMe wich you can fully leverage on your new system. I am not talking high end but something like a A80. Let me see what they have.

They have Samsung, but thats overpriced.

Well i am kinda on my max budget atm becuse i need a new keyboard.

 

Prob not going to get a new pc until one or two years more.
