Gtx 960 black screen and high pitch beeping sound continuously

I have a gtx 960 8gb hyper ddr3 ram and a gigabyte motherboard i54460, so at first it started with my pc running into lines on my screen playing gta or cod, so I changed the thermal paste since it has been 3 years of having it. I booted up it ran for a couple days and then It happened again. I took out the gpu cleaned it up a little bit checked the pins plugged it back in and now it beeps continuously and won’t boot up a screen, and the fan will speed up all the way. I’m guessing it’s fried and time to move on? But if I could save it please help me
