@dizmo it was just a joke with the sock haha, I actually did read through the whole post, my anxiety was flaring up before I jumped on here an you calmed me down, I'm panicing as it's just hit my city I got asthma an late 20s, guess you can call me a hypercondriact but I'm highly considering taking 2 week off work self isolation just to avoid the initial spread, but on the other hand work won't pay for the time off.

I saw the reports online but reality didn't hit me until I went to a major store a moment ago. Toilet paper section was empty. Pasta was significantly reduced but non-zero.

Yes, but it can be used as facial tissue. As well as many other things, just because it’s meant for something doesn’t mean You can’t use it for another.

As much as I'd hate to lose Tom Hanks, maybe him being sick will convince people to actually pay attention to this virus and take it seriously.

 

So many people just sayings its the flu, no big deal, stop worrying about it. 

 

Experts telling them it's 10x worse and will overload hospitals isn't enough.

 

Maybe some celebrities getting sick will make them understand.
