So umm my friend wants to build his first pc (ryzen 7 3700x) I'd the cpu and he wants to tap into streaming and he told me "you make the parts list  because IDK anything about PC's" I just need to know do I run quad channel memory or dual channel memory at which frequency (I've seen the 1:1 ratio video but got lost in it)

Ryzen doesn't support quad channel memory.
