This is the view from the back of the case. There is another fan at the top of the case that you can not see from this picture.

Read the fan support section on the specifications page. It's one rear, one top.

It's more likely that the fan installation choice that NZXT made was with AIO watercooling in mind. One of the features of the H510 is the front fan mount being a removable rack to make radiator installation easier.

if you plan to run without an AIO, I would consider moving the top intake fan to the front, or ideally, add two additional fans to your order.

They come with two fans and generally, four fan positions. 

 

They are easy enough to swap around. Either your case or your new aftermarket fans should comes with the screws required. 

 

Good quality but I've had better...
