Possible 2080S Fan Issue/Coil Whine?

Hey guys, so I made a post yesterday about a very low buzzing coming from my GPU under 100% load. I looked around online and lots of forums people said that it's fairly common for beefy high end cards to emit such a sound under heavy load, and I was cool with that. But today things changed a little bit when I tried to turn my fans to 100%.

 

I ran Timespy, but turned my fans to 100%, and when I started the bench it(the buzzing) came back and was quite loud. When I dropped my fan speed (to my normal curve) it went back to normal. And not under load I cannot mimic it, except if I turn my fans to 100%, it seems that every once in a while (30 seconds) it will kick in for 1-5 seconds, except it's very irregular then go away. I tried dropping my fans to 90%, and it doesn't appear to make the noise. Any idea what this could be?

 

As well it appears to make the same noise, just not as loud, when I first boot my PC and all the fans spool up, but disappears right away. Any ideas?

 

P.S. My card is a ROG Strix 2080 Super Advanced, and all my specs are in my signature block.

 

I also swapped back to my stock profile in afterburner (issues were coming on my +100/+1500 OC Profile), and it still appears to arise, but almost less regularly, but I haven't ran a test to confirm that, so I believe for the time being it's the same (again only on 100%.)

Coil Whine, apart of the noise, is nothing to worry about.

But if i myself had payed that amount of money i would want nothing more than a perfect GPU!!

Part of my mindset is I get coil whine is a thing, and if it’s so quiet I can baaarely hear it while stress testing my GPU full tilt, I don’t mind at all. Especially when I build my ideal setup my PC will be a few feet away. The thing that throws me off is the sounds I described when my fans are ONLY at 100% not under load. I’ll remove the card tomorrow and ensure the blades aren’t brushing something. But if they aren’t it still concerns me.

If you can't found a way out, RMA it, you payed a bunch of money for it....

The thing is, the card OCs amazing, stays cold as hell, and runs perfectly fine. It only makes noise when I pin it at 100% load or 100% fans

If you can deal with that noise, then it's ok, Coil Whine is just the noise, nothing wrong with the hardware
