Recommended Posts

As the title says I need a low profile graphics adapter (with HDMI) it doesn't need any computing preformance just the ability to get a HDMI 1080p 60Hz output to a monitor (nothing fancy) this is for an office PC, and will be running on a pc which will only being used for making powerpoints, word docs and web browsing etc.

does not need to be current gen but preferably new and able to be bought in the UK, and the budget is low as possible

New would be spending too much really, a GT 710 off eBay would be probably your best cheap option

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

I got soured on low profile cards this past year. I bought a new low profile pny GT 710 at best buy for my desktop pc. It stopped working a week later.

So I sent it back (rna I think they call it). They sent me a low profile GT 730 as a replacement and that card was dead on arrival.

Just to be certain I tested it on other equipment and sure enough it was deader than disco.

That was after a lot of email and them constantly calling me trying to get me to talk to them on the phone. Which I also thought was weird because after all, what did we have to talk about? I gave them all the information and receipt through email. I sent the bad card back at my own expense. All they had to do was fix it or replace it. What's to talk about? So after all that I just said forget it and moved on.

No more low profile cards for me

I live in the US though so I don't know if this is helpful for you or not.
